After Danny tells her that he has chlamydia, Tilly takes herself off to the clinic to see Jackie, and to get herself checked out. Emma plays Tilly, and Jackie plays herself.

Tilly, Danny and some of their friends meet up the night after Danny's latest beating from his dad and Tilly's narrow escape from Ahmed and his friends. Stephen plays Danny and Emma plays Tilly.

Danny visits his mum and younger brother

After the latest violent attack from his father, Danny runs away and goes to see his mum and younger brother to see if he can stay with them. In this video Stephen plays Danny, Kyle plays Liam, and Patricia plays their mother Barbara.

David goes to see Ahmed

No sooner has David been released from jail than he goes to find Ahmed. Stephen is playing David and Derek is playing Ahmed.

The L8R Team visited SILX in Blyth, Northumberland for 2 days and worked with young people here to create some new L8R characters and stories. Some of the results are here - more still to come.

Liam Talks about Danny & His Dad

I am called Liam and i am 13 years old. Danny came to find me and my mam and i havent saw my brother Danny for 3 years. My dad was hitting my mam and i also saw some of the abuse he did to her. So me and my mam left to start a new life and it was better just me and my mam without my dad. When i saw my older brother Danny i was happy and excited to see him. He wanted to live with us but my mam said he couldn't incase their dad found out. My mam doesn't want anything to happen again as she has moved away and started a new life. Now that we have moving away my dad has started to hit Danny for not getting his cans of fosters back to the house in time. My dad is always drunk and i would really like to see Danny again as he is my brother, and my mam would like to see him too. I miss him really much just wish that he could move back in with us, but he is old enough now he can sort himself out I HOPE.

i am friends with tilly,danny, james,misha and every1 else, i am 16 years of age and i am feeling sorry for tilly at the minute as she is going through a rough patch with family with her brother being in jail and her mother constantly drinking. i ave slept there before and we talk alot about our problems. tillys mam also sleeps about at other males houses. i think tilly also wishes her brother wasnt in jail because she would ave someone to talk too. i really get on with tilly n she told me she had unprotected sex with danny which means danny can also be involved with slag written on the door. we all drink in our group and i am the only one that doesnt take drugs, i despise them. stacey a member of our gang sniffs solvents which isnt clever as a ex mate linzi died off it. i think people are just following other people with the drugs. i can really get on with tilly and danny.

I'm kyle and i created character called liam. liams older brother is called danny. his mam and dad split up with each other and danny went to live with his dad.liam had just started school and plays for the school team and lives with his mam.when danny came home liam looked surprised and exited to see him. liams girlfriend My name is michelle and iam going out with kyle. We have been going out with each other for a couple of weeks. Iam interseted in a lot of things like animals swimmimg and going out with my friends. I have a very good hobby at school as iam a cheerleader for the boy football team and i realy enjoy it.

My name is david i am 20 years old. I am tilly's brother. I am in prison for GBH i am getting out in a few weeks i have been inside for 2 years. I get letters sent in by tilly, mum, grandma and danny. My dad left is when i was young so i don't know him. My dad is different to tilly's dad but i class tilly's dad as my dad. Tilly's dad left us when i was 12. He likes to drink so i had to be the man of the house at the age of 12. When i was a t school i got bullied and one day i lashed out. I'd do anything for my family and i know there are people messing with my family and i'm going to sort them when i get out and i don't care if i end up back inside.

Barbara- Danny's mother

This is Dannys mother she is 38 and left when Danny when he was 12. Liam which was her youngest son wanted to be with his mother, and her eldest son Danny wanted to be with his father. Barbara was with Danny's father for 9 years and were married for 4 years. Dannys father got violent after we got married. He first hit me a couple of months after the wedding. the father gets violent when he was drunk and gets jealous alot, he was very paranoid and didnt trust me. When i moved away from Danny and his father i wanted to go back to get Danny but i was too scared to see his father. Danny came to find me once when i moved away, and his father also came and he held me and liam the youngest child hostage. Danny still wanted to go back with his father so i let him as he was the eldest and thats what he wanted. I then started a new life and would like to have Danny back but i am so scared of their father. I never told anyone about the domestic violence as i was scared for the children, even though i wish i told someone now. There were rumuors from the neighbours, when i was walking through the streets but i just put my head down. I was terrified what the father would do to me. The father was a nasty man once he had drink down him, but when he soba he was a lovely man.I love him more when he is sobour, but i hate him when he whas been drinking.
