STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS WITH LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITIES AND PRIMARY CARE TRUSTS

We value our strategic partnerships with local authorities, primary care trusts and other key organisations, who buy L8R, practitioner training on delivering L8R, and other features of our programme, for a number of their schools, PRUs, youth groups, alternative education and looked after children settings. We are currently working in partnership with the following counties and boroughs:

DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TEENAGE HEALTH DEVELOPMENT SITES

L8R is making a major contribution to the Department of Health’s Teenage Health Development Sites, where a two year pilot scheme is in progress, designed to give young people better access to health information and support. These sites are:

• Bolton
• Hackney
• Portsmouth
• Northumberland

As well as rolling out L8R to schools, PRUs and Youth Groups and providing teacher/practitioner training in these areas, we have launched a new Creative Workshops Programme, where a number of groups in PRUs, youth projects and looked after children settings in the four regions create their own L8R scenes and characters and publish them on the L8R site.
